Family & Systemic Constellations
Rooted in the work of Bert Hellinger, who spent many years working with the Zulu people in South Africa and learning their ancestral traditions, Family Constellations offer a powerful way of looking at the unconscious patterns and hidden dynamics playing out in your life. This work engages the ancestral field, looking at the systemic relationships that affect and condition the wellness of a family system.
Science, through the study of epigenetics and the genome, is now bridging what indigenous cultures have known for millennia: that trauma gets passed down from one generation to the next. What is left unhealed can pass its way onto future descendants in the form of mystery illnesses, emotional turmoil, and somatic memory that has no place to rest.
Family constellations are a living map, offering a new perspective on the challenges and gifts held within our lineage lines. At the heart of this work are what Hellinger called the "orders of love" — the invisible laws that govern belonging within a family system. When these orders are disturbed — through exclusion, early death, addiction, or unspoken trauma — the system seeks balance, often through a descendant unconsciously carrying the burden of an ancestor who came before. Constellations work to restore order, so that love can flow freely again.

Family Constellations is the original method, developed to reveal hidden dynamics and unresolved patterns within the family system, often passed down through generations without our awareness.
Systemic Constellations expands on this same approach, working with any system we're part of, not just family. This might include relationships, health, money, or ancestral and collective patterns.
Both use the same intuitive process to bring what's hidden into awareness, so it can be seen, honoured, and released.

Sessions can be online or in-person.
In 1:1 sessions I will guide you to use shells and figurines as representatives to map your constellation.
In a group constellation workshop, the issue holder shares a little about what they're working with. For example: a relationship, a pattern, a symptom, a question.Representatives may be chosen to stand in for family members or aspects of the issue holder's system, often without knowing anything about the real people or situation that they represent. What happens next is hard to explain and needs to be felt: representatives often report sensations, emotions, or impulses that don't belong to them, but to the role they're holding. Through this living map, hidden dynamics, such as loyalties, exclusions and entanglements, can begin to reveal themselves, and a new healing resolution can emerge.
You don't need to be an issue holder to benefit. Simply witnessing a constellation can be deeply moving, often surfacing insight into your own family system.
